Di awal pelatihan, peserta dibekali dengan prinsip Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) serta penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) untuk memastikan setiap proses kerja berjalan aman. Selanjutnya, peserta diajak memahami jenis-jenis material logam, setelan mesin, serta teknik pengelasan dasar hingga posisi yang lebih kompleks seperti 3G. Pelatihan ini juga melatih peserta dalam membaca gambar teknik dan melakukan pemeriksaan visual pada hasil lasan guna memastikan kualitas sambungan logam sesuai standar.
